YAY- also Americans loooove spending time in a beer- tent!
I went there with Annika, a german aupair, and Johanna, an aupair from Sweden, and didn't really have a lot of expectations- but it turned out to be soooo funny!
Americans wore "Deutschland"- t- shirts, Dirndlns and Lederhosen and played Schlagermusik! I had to grin when I heard them singing in my dialect :D
Because we all were starving, we had some Pretzel, German Potatoesalad and a Bratwurst- but not a thin one you would get in Austria, but a big one in a bun- they obviously are not able to serve sausages without a bun ;)
We also were able to choose from a wide range of german and austrian food- yummy
Unfortunately they ran out of the Appel- Strudel, so I had some American dessert- cheeeeesecake!!
I loved it!!
And we made another niiiice discovery
not that this would be something that we could use - we hade a nice red bear-stamp on our hand because we're underage- made me feel like 15 again ;) |
Actually I felt a little sick, I think due to the food, so I broke up my workout after 15 minutes and ate some soup- now I am feeling better..
but all in all- IT WAS AWESOME!
(and helped me- now I won't miss the Urfahranermarkt, sorry, Urfix, that much! ;) )
Take care,
Ida :)
I miss your Dirndlkleidl :-)
